The challenge
An office building with a large roof and numerous penetrations for ventilation plant. The existing polystyrene insulation ruled out open flame, and the building had to stay in use throughout.
The solution
We chose a single-ply mechanically fixed PVC system, hot-air welded — no flame and no odour. Every penetration received a welded prefabricated collar, and all seams were probe-tested along their full length.
The result
Work in the building was not interrupted for a single day. The roof passed the flood test at handover.
