SHIPConstruct is a waterproofing company founded by construction engineers, with experience built on sites in France and in Romania. We learned the trade where it is properly learned — in execution, job after job — alongside engineers and architects, on projects where the technical detail counted for more than the surface area.

That experience left us with a simple conviction: waterproofing is not the layer applied at the end, but the decision that determines whether a building lasts or quietly begins to fail from the inside. Most leaks do not appear in the middle of a terrace; they appear at upstands, parapets and penetrations — precisely where time is most often saved.

We brought that way of working to Cluj-Napoca because the local market lacks neither materials nor skilled people, but specialised experience. We assess the substrate before quoting a price, prepare it properly, treat every critical detail, and select the system that suits the real situation — not the one that is easiest to sell.

The shop came later, out of a practical need: the products we were used to working with were hard to source in Romania. We began importing them for our own projects, then for the clients and partners who asked for the same. The catalogue contains only materials we install ourselves.
